Meet Your Master Craftsman
Our marble carving workshop is personally guided by Michail Saltamanikas, a master craftsman born and raised in Pyrgos, Tinos – the undisputed heartland of Greek marble-crafting heritage.
Michail carries the island’s creative DNA in his blood, raised at the crossroads of two worlds: a family of celebrated artists on one side, and deep-rooted mariners on the other. As the son of a lighthouse keeper, he developed an intimate bond with the sea from a tender age—capturing both its serene beauty and its raw, untamed power.
After honing his skills at the prestigious School of Fine Arts in Pyrgos, he founded his independent studio right where it all began: in his beloved hometown.
For decades, Michail has been seamlessly blending the rugged landscape of Tinos with the timeless spirit of the Aegean, breathing life into raw stone to create breathtaking masterpieces.

Booking and cancellation terms
- A deposit of 20% is required to book your desired experience. The balance of the payment can be paid on the day of the experience upon arrival.
- A refund will be available for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the selected experience.
- If the experience is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, the full amount will be refunded unless you wish to reschedule.
