Whispers of Medieval Tinos
The northeastern part of Tinos, known as Pano Meri, is the island’s most intriguing and breathtaking region. It’s the place where elements of a rich, deep-rooted cultural heritage, interwoven with nature’s rough beauty, have created a unique combination of simplicity and grandeur.
Hillsides crisscrossed by ancient dry-stone walls, medieval fortresses once guarding the island from pirates, slopes dotted with elaborate dovecotes and villages where traditional life still flourishes create a landscape that feels like a living museum.
This tour invites you to step into a masterpiece written in stone where time stands still and every turn reveals a new chapter of Tinos’ history.
